Would You Like to See a Topic?

The heading says it all. I'm willing to do research on and post about almost any supernatural creature or entity that you can think of. But research materials cost money, and most of my research comes from books. If you'd like to help me procure materials, let me know.

  1. Can you do a Amazon list on U.F.O's and have you heard of Kolchak: The Night Stalker?

  2. I'm afraid that UFOs and aliens are not subjects that I research. Sure, I'll do research on the Dover Demon or Reptilians that could be considered to be alien-related, but I tend to steer clear of anything on creatures from outer space. And yes, I have heard of Kolchak the Night Stalker, but I've never seen the show.

  4. Honestly, I would LOVE to do something on Springheel Jack. But there is a shortage of reliable written sources on the subject (i.e. books), but a guy by the name of Mike Dash is coming out with a book on the subject later this year. He also has a website and a Facebook page, so look him up.

  5. How about the Mayan Alux? Or something regarding the similarities of sprite or elf type creatures spanning numerous cultures? Great site btw.

  6. How about creatures on the borderline between folklore and mythology, like the Dragon or the Basalisk?

If not, how about the Faery, not just fairies that you find in fairy tales, but more dangerous ones, such as the Red Cap, a English Homicindal Imp, or the Dullahan, an Irish headless horseman, who serves death.
    What do you say?

  7. I say...YES to Rex and to JKL. I know quite a bit about Faeries (the more dangerous types, anyway), but compiling something on Dragons would take another blog unto itself. However, I am very interested in the Basilisk. But long pages of detailed information on this creature are hard to come by. If you have any links or resources that you could recommend, I would greatly appreciate the help.

  8. Thanks, and I guess your right, there to much information on dragons, I mean there are so many types, the western dragon, the eastern Dragon, the Chineas dragon, the American dragon, the Wyvern ect. Where would you begin?

Any way, I don't any websites, but, I don't know if this will help, but theres quite a good book featuring Basalisks writen by Jorge Luis Borges, titled "The Book of Imaginary Beings" if you can, I recomend you check a copy. To give you a line from it "The Basilisk dwelled in the desert; or, more accurately, it made the desert. Birds fell dead at its feet and the earth's fruits blackened; the water of the streams where it quenched its first remained posoined for centuries".

I hope it helps. On another Note, do you know anyone who has a good blog or site on dragons, because I can't find anything.

  9. If you're on Facebook, you might try Richard Freeman. He's an authority on Real Dragons.
